Man, what a way to clutter up a ng which is supposed to be a resource
for people who need advice on repair, maintenance, or purchase of a car.
It would be better to take these opinions/rants to fora (plural of
forum) which are set up for those topics.
I could boilerplate this and send it to virtually every ng and specialty
site on Google, Yahoo and elsewhere and not miss the intended targets.

on-topic info"

Automated response to most recent OT complaint:

1. You can use your killfile to avoid most who do the most OT posting.
2. Our cars are so trouble-free that there is very little to discuss most
of the time.
3. Instead of complaining, you should post a question or comment that *is*
on-topic. Most will chime in and help if they can.
4. You have just created an OT post yourself.

No excuses for the excessive OT posts here, mind you, but these are things
to consider.

OT posts are a fact of unmoderated NGs. But keep in mind there are lots of
other Toyota "places" on the net, such as MDT's Yahoo group.

auto discussion list!!!! GET IT GENIUSES!!!!

Go to a real political discussion list and have your butts handed to

After the first minute you arrived you were here too long. Show us

Bull. Usenet gives you many outlets for you to exercise free speech.
It's a common sense issue to use the appropriate outlet. It's like
pissing in someone's swimming pool because you think you have the
freedom to do anything anytime. Take your stupid political
discussions somewhere else. You clutter up this Toyota discussion
list with political OT posts when there are hundreds of discussion
list DEDICATED to political topics. Just take your little band of
misfits, miscreants and wankers and move on. You all sound like a
bunch of prepubescent girls arguing over which Bratz doll is cooler.

Hey, good luck with getting all of the posters here to stay on-topic.

I hardly ever start off-topic posts, but I chime in for lack of anything
else to discuss.

Even then, I don't get into flame wars. That's what you're doing with the
very inflammatory post here.
